Description
The red wines from the central and southern parts are powerful, tannic, and deeply coloured. Those from the northern area are generally less intensely coloured with softer fruit. The grapes bear small little dark red berries. The bunches are destemmed; they macerate in open vats for 4 weeks helping this subtle terroir to reveal itself. The wines are aged in oak barrels for 18 months. |
