Hot upon the heels of our extraordinary Burgundy Masterclass® lunch (a polite word for what turned out to be an afternoon of unrestrained indulgence, in which knowledge was imparted in much the same volume as fabulous pinot noir), we now have the comparable immersion in Bordeaux.
We’ll cover white wine from the Graves district, a complete review of the major appellations of the Medoc, with St Emilion there as the Right Bank counterpoint, and then we’ll move from the more generic examples to four Cru Classe Reds, single Chateau wines which express not only the regions in which they are produced, but the centuries of dedicated ownership which have brought them pretty much to the top of the Bordeaux log.
Private chef Thom Hughes of ‘The Loft’, ‘The Attic’, ‘Perron’, ‘The Griffin’ and ‘A street bar named Desire’ will be preparing a fabulous lunch to accompany the wines.
No one will go hungry, no one will go thirsty, and with the main course session accompanied by
